Beinn Bhracaigh is an AA Accredited four-star gold guest house, set in an elegant Victorian Country House, built in 1880. It has been thoughtfully extended and decorated with a blend of antique and contemporary styles, creating a peaceful, relaxing, and truly memorable experience. From our elevated position, most rooms offer sweeping views over the garden, with the town of Pitlochry below and the Tummel Valley beyond.
We have eight double rooms, four of which can be made into twins. Rooms are located within the west wing extension or the original part of the property and are situated between the ground and first floors, accessed by stairs. Each bedroom is individually appointed with hypo-allergenic bedding, fresh, plump towelling and complimentary toiletries supplied by the Scottish Fine Soap Company. All rooms have en-suite facilities, most with walk-in showers.

Our cosy standard double room, 'Findhorn', is located in the Old House and has three steps down into a characterful room with ensuite walk-in shower. Leave the window ajar and wake up to beautiful birdsong from the array of evergreen trees outside.
Just across the landing Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk from Findhorn, is our standard super king room, 'Livet', decorated in a more period style using Farrow & Ball colour schemes and has a walk-in shower en-suite. This room has views through the rooftops to Ben Vrackie in the distance.
Also on the first floor in the original house, you’ll find a Classic Room, Dochart, with a super king size bed, walk-in shower and stunning views across the Tummel valley, as well as ‘Tay’ our Superior Room offering a small seating area and large ensuite bathroom, with the added benefit of robes and slippers.
In the West Wing of the house, are three more ‘Classic’ rooms, Tummel and Tweed on the ground floor, both with walk-in showers and ‘Nethy’ on the first floor – our only room with a bath with shower over. All enjoying those stunning views across the Tummel Valley. Our west wing rooms are light and airy with a more contemporary colour scheme and the two ground floor rooms can be made up with two single beds if required as Livet and Dochart in the original house, just let us know when booking.
Our Junior Suite is also in the West Wing, on the first floor and offers a large, relaxing space with armchairs looking across the valley, cosy bathrobes and a welcome dram of local whisky.
Recognised for quality by our AA Breakfast Award, the first meal of the day is a big deal here. We have an extensive menu including a Scottish breakfast, American Pancakes and stunning smoked salmon. We source all our produce as locally as possible, with meats and eggs from MacDonald Brothers Butchers in Pitlochry and smoked salmon from Dunkeld Smoked Salmon. We can cater for most dietary requirements, please do let us know in advance.
Our Honesty Bar is available throughout your stay, with a wide variety of whiskys and other local tipples. Our cosy guest lounge and quiet garden both offer the opportunity for relaxing evenings enjoying the views with a book or a board game.
