Lochview Guest House is an established business in the North West Highlands, within the picturesque fishing town of Ullapool, nestled on the shores of Loch Broom and is one of the least spoilt natural locations in the UK on the NC500 route.
Ullapool is well equipped with everything a person needs for an amazing, diverse holiday and for years artists have been attracted here: painters, craftsmen in jewellery, pottery and leather all live and work here which makes for some interesting shopping!
There is a golf course, a fully equipped leisure complex, an award winning museum, and a wide range of other visitor attractions such as coastal scenic and wildlife cruises, walks, fishing, kayaking all of which can be accessed from the guest house.
In the evenings there is much to entertain. Great pubs, live music, and some of the best restaurants you'll find anywhere! Strolls can be taken along and around the harbour, watching the fishing boats land their catches.
We are also about 1 hour drive from Inverness and Lochinver which takes you through unforgettable, spectacular views. There are unspoilt beaches within easy reach, clifftop walks, and many mountain peaks, although dramatic, are reasonably easy to climb. Wildlife is Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk in abundance, from our doorstep you could expect to encounter, pine martin, red squirrels, otters, and badgers. For bird lovers, a whole range of moorland and seabirds, including ospreys and eagles.
