The Barn at Amberwell offers guest accommodation in a beautifully converted 200-year-old Grade II Listed Barn. Our barn is situated in a tranquil area of Somerset, offering the ideal location for exploring Shepton Mallet, Castle Cary and Bruton.
Our barn boasts an original flagstone and cobbled floor, limed walls and original roof beams. The accommodation is stylishly furnished and comes well-equipped to a high standard Text taken from bandbstays.co.uk to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Inside there is a comfy king-size bed with cotton bed linen for a restful night’s sleep. The en suite shower room comes with a walk-in shower with Bramley toiletries. A toasty log wood burner is great for those chilly days. There is free Wi-Fi and a TV/DVD player. Outside there is garden seating, great for a coffee.
In the morning, you can tuck into a continental-style breakfast containing locally sourced produce where possible, including muesli, yogurt and fruit.
The village of Allhampton is based in a rural location, alongside Ditcheat, renowned for Barbers Cheese and Paul Nichols Racing. The railway stations at Castle Cary, Templecombe, and Bruton are easily accessible. Grab a bite to eat at The Chapel and The Roth Bar in Bruton, or The Talbot Inn in Mells.
